In the beginning I wanted to build the Power Plant, All the parts were researched and a build list sent to the local VW dealer parts department.  They could get the parts for me at the same cost as CB Performance would offer them at, but would have to pay sales tax.  In the end this ended up being more than shipping and handling would have cost. Calling CB Perf. back and telling them my plans, a deal was worked up that they would take a chuck of change off the price of the parts if I let them put it together, for a fee. The two costs almost canceled each other out.  The plus side to having them build it was the bottom end would be fully balanced and the engine Pre-run with Dyno results.  This I felt was well worth the extra money.  It was built to my specs with the input of Pat at CB Performance. One thing we agreed upon was to have the oil system full flowed.  This was not done, and a filter pump put on in its place.  Other than that it all came together nice. And one Hell of  ride!!!
