After dropping the 2017cc power plant in, it was VERY
easy to see that the 165's were not going to cut it and I needed a wider
tire. The problem at hand was that with the off set of the
8 spoke Empi's even the stock tires would rub on the inner part of outer
fender. There were 2 choices, change the wheels, or narrow the back
end. Since I just bought the wheels, I could not tell the Wifey I
needed some new one that would fit, so I decided to go with a Narrowed
Swing Arms, from California imports and SAW
Shortened Axles after breaking
the Modified type 1 axles they sell.
